Trial date, timescale?

After fracturing my skull at work I am about to enter into mediation, the company haven't admitted liability (an independent barrister gave me an excellent chance of winning) If mediation does not work my solicitor says we will go to court, what is the timescale from decision to go to court to the actual trial, I know this will be an approx figure, but can you give me an idea? 6 months? years?
