Can I use a deference for Jury Duty if I'm a full time college student?

I was summoned for Jury Duty in New Jersey, but it's during the middle of the Spring Semester. I'm well aware of NOT being excused, but what about deferring it to a later week when I'm not heavily involved with academics (especially during winter or summer breaks)?
