What does 13 Bravo actually consist of now?

I just recently signed up for the U.S Army, I received the MOS of 13 Bravo (cannon crew-member). I still have about 5 months till i leave for basic so i got plenty of time to reclify, I'm just curious if what ive been getting told is similar or true. I've been getting told that this MOS is really boring, and the fact i wont ever leave the wire when over seas. And i really didn't join the Army to be stuck in the safe zone cleaning up garbage or doing repetitive drab work. So i was just curious if anyone has any information for me.. if so please post..
