Are these good names for characters? (frm book im writing:D)?

When I write, I try to consider (like you) what the names mean. In other words, I wouldn't name a character "Susie" or "John" unless they was a good reason. Naming characters is kind of difficult. I usually decide to use the first name that comes to mind when I'm writing for a certain character. I did notice that one surname is "Eau", water in French. That's really interesting because water might be a symbol in your story (or maybe it's not. I'm an English major, so I'm used to over-zing. ;) ) If this character is important enough for the story, try to develop a reason behind why his last name means water. Oh, it's interesting that the shy girl has such a unique name. I always think of shy kids as having "plain Jane" names, but yours is so unique! Maybe she's shy because she feels like her surname is a conversation starter (and she doesn't want to talk or gets bullied because of it.) Maybe I read too far into it. ;) But good luck!
